Pool Fence Code

Start by calling a local fence professional fence contractor in your area and ask “What is pool fence code?”.  They should be able to recite the pool fence code and be able to give you options over the phone.  Then request that the licensed contractor visit your build site to ensure they have all of the correct field measurements, proper materials that meet your counties pool fence code prior to signing a contract.

All Walk gates, must meet the following the requiements

  1. Latch needs to be located at 54″high minimum
  2. Hinges must be self closing
  3. Gate must open outwards
  4. 24″ safety latch or 36″ safety latch or commonly known as Magna Latch
